Scooter83
Can someone recommend a good decompiler for the atari 8 bit computer BINs that i get through dumping roms? I can get to hex level but i need to break that down to english so i can read things. Any ideas?
TGB1718
I use BUG65, but even the Atari Assembler Editor Cartridge can disassemble, in Altirra, send the output to the printer and you can copy/paste into a suitable editor in Windows (I use Notepad++)
Preppie
If I just want a fast no frills dissassembly i just use this online tool: https://www.masswerk.at/6502/disassembler.html Assuming you're working on a PC of course Edited March 22, 2020 by Preppie

TGB1718
If you use Altirra, open the disk with your code on using "Tools->Disk Explorer", browse to your .ATR and select it. You should see all the files on that disk, simply click and drag/drop your file into windows
Scooter83
Ive dumped all the eproms that had anything on them. ( some look like a few character blocks had something but not be complete). In all 28 BIN files. would anyone here be interested in helping me decode them and see if we can figure out what is atari hcs games , atari hcs hardware chips, and which are for other atari consoles? I know one is for the 7800 in the form of a Maria Graphics chip in eprom form.
