IntyBASIC Music and Tracking Audio Volume?

Hi all. When IntyBASIC music is playing, how can the volume (0-15) and pitch (from 0-255) be tracked? I understand that there could be some serious CPU impact, but knowing how it would be possible would be great.

Check the LST file. You should see something like this:

 

0000012B _music_vol1

0000012C _music_vol2
0000012D _music_vol3

 

It means that PEEK($12B) will return current volume on voice 1, PEEK($12C) for voice 2 and PEEK($12D) for voice 3.

 

You have memory locations for frequency too if you look into the LST file. I suppose those are fairly static but don't take my word for granted that they may not change along development of the program.
