Hi @ZeroPage Homebrew

Thanks for doing this.

Is there a place where I can download all the homebrews for 8bit atari per the year of the release? For example 2019, 2020? Maybe in pigwa ftp?

I hope I did not missed this in a previous post.

You're very welcome! I only starting doing this since last year, unfortunately the 2019 list doesn't have the links to the individual threads but it will get you started for last year:

https://atariage.com/forums/topic/300101-atari-8bit5200-homebrew-released-in-2019-complete-list/

As for a complete download of all the releases I'm not sure if there's somewhere you can download them by year but atarionline.pl has an EXTENSIVE download section of releases by name. Just search down the lefthand side for "Katalog gier" (Games Catalogue) on the main page of the site. You have the option of downloading ALL of the games in one huge zip file or dig into them alphabetically.

I think "airplane shooter" by shanti77 can be removed in the wip list - "Last Squadron" is there ;)

Excellent, removed "airplane shooter" duplicate! Thanks!

There's more to correct, just a few examples:

This WIP game is doubled on the list, its current title is "Vaults of Nhyrmeth":
 "Dungeon Crawler" by @clth
 "Monochrome Dungeon Crawler" by @clth

This game Myślozbrodnie / Thoughtcrimes is also doubled:
Thougtcrimes by Tomasz Cieslewicz, Krzysztof Ziembik, Krzysztof Zubz
Myślozbrodnie / Thoughtcrimes by Tomasz "TDC" Cieślewicz, Krzysztof "Kaz" Ziembik

The creators names are: Tomasz "TDC" Cieślewicz, Krzysztof "Kaz" Ziembik, Krzysztof "Kapitan" Żubil

Thanks @+Adam+! I've remove those two duplicates as well as updated the names in the description. 🙂

Scramble for A8 was published almost at the same time as A5200 version, so it's not 2020 production. In 2020 the official AtariAge cartridge was produced.

Thanks, I've updated the notes for that entry.

There's also several games missing, for example:

Tristam Island by Hugo Labrande aka @hlabrand - commercial interactive fiction game for 36 platforms, free demo available:

Some games by Vic Thorn aka @SectorWars published in April 2020:

Warrior of the Flies (written in July 1983)
Electro Maze (written April 1983)
Starship Dock (written in June 1983)
Spider Wars (written in March 1984)
Here's the thread:

Thank you SO MUCH for these new entries!

Added to Completed:

Adding to this, there's another great resource for downloading 8Bit games: Homesoft's Disk Images

You can download the full collection with the link on the right hand side where it say "Download all"

They Are Many by Vladimir Jankovic is a WIP, not a finished game (confirmed by @popmilo himself)

As I have just written on AtariOnline.pl, there is a new chess game for Atari 8-bit: cc65-Chess from July 2020, originally created for Commodore 64 in 2014. You may find sources and ATR file here. Code: Stefan Wessels, graphics: Oliver Schmidt

It's there on the list under wrong title "Unicorns Season: Prince of Persia".

Ahh ok, I was scanning through, looking for items beginning with P!

Cross-Snake is fully open source:
https://github.com/Fabrizio-Caruso/CROSS-LIB/tree/master/src/games/snake

Cross-Snake is written in C + my framework Cross-Lib
https://github.com/Fabrizio-Caruso/CROSS-LIB

The very SAME code is compiled with Cross-Lib build-chain to produce up to more than 200 binaries for several computers, consoles, hand-held consoles, scientific calculators, hacked computer toys, etc...

As of December 31, was it work in progress or completed?

Thanks, James!

"Dirt Track Speedway by stork, LiSU (Music)"

Google Translate translated the first nickname, it should be written as "Bocianu", not "stork" :)

Hahah, nice catch, what a funny mistake. I've updated the name in the first post. 🙂 Thanks!!

Thanks so much @+Adam+! I don't really keep track of Hacks on my lists as the number of hacks can be overwhelming, I'll leave that to someone else to make a list for those.

In terms of Scramble, I have it on the list only for the fact that it was released physically for the first time in case there's ever a category for packaging in the Atari Homebrew Awards in the future. 🙂  I've noted beside the listing that it was previously released.
