Zap!
Who here remembers God of Thunder? In my opinion, the game is massively under-rated. It doesn't have the name recognition of Commander Keen, Duke Nukem, or Jill of the Jungle, but it's so darn good. It's a Zelda clone, a genre that surprisingly hasn't been done so much for DOS. It used to be shareware, but as of 2002 it's freeware. You can download the game from this site: https://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/god-of-thunder/ My only question is how did this go so under the radar? I was considerably into the BBS scene in the early to late 90's, and don't remember hearing much about this game, if anything at all.

DragonGrafx-16
It wouldn't be so bad if the sound FX weren't so loud lol
CaptainBreakout
Yeah, this game is really good. I like to think it's a hybrid of the original Zelda and Adventures of Lolo, but in DOS and with Vikings (adding Vikings is a good way to get me to like anything). A few more forgotten DOS games that are surprisingly good, from my memory: Attack of the Mutant Space Bats of Doom, Tubular Worlds, SkyRoads, Outer Ridge.
