Hi all,

First and foremost I hope all is well with everyone!

I purchased this from Mattsoft back in December. An excellent AA seller BTW ;)

I have had it connected in my vintage computer setup since and it looks and works great. However, it is the one computer that I have given the least play time. Not because it is bad (there are actually a LOT of great titles for this machine!) but simply because I personally have no nostalgic tie to it. I have 10 other computers connected and there are some upgrades I would like to purchase for some of them so I decided since I have had my Speccy fun fulfilled I will sell it off for what I paid.

Here is the original description from Mattsoft for the set:

"Up for sale is an original ZX Spectrum 16k/48k with 16k of RAM but the motherboard has been swapped out for a brand new Harlequin 128 Spectrum clone with an original Amstrad 128k ROM installed. This essentially gives you a Spectrum 128 with the awesome AY-3-8912 sound chip and 128k RAM inside of an original Spectrum 48k case. Speaking of cases, this is all original and is in excellent condition. I have carefully cleaned everything and it looks brand new.

Here is what you get:

ZX Spectrum 16k/48k case with Harlequin 128 motherboard and brand new keyboard membrane.
Original Spectrum 16k motherboard (w/composite mod) set aside just in case you want to OG.
Both UK (original) and North American/US power supplies so you can play it on both sides of the pond.
RF and composite video cables (note: this does require a PAL TV/monitor).
I will include a composite to HDMI adapter that accepts PAL composite video input -- it's not the best quality but will get you going! (needs USB cable for power, not included)
    Original styrofoam packaging and manual.
DIVMMC Future SD card-based tape and cartridge loader! You can put every Spectrum game ever made on an SD card and easily load them all! SD card included."

On top of this I have also purchased a high quality RGB to SCART cable for this from Europe and will include that as well. I had this connected to an OSSC, so if you have one of those you can easily add it to your setup. I also prepared the included SD card with a nicer ExoDOS menu setup and a ton of software. Its ready to plug in and go to town!

$250 shipped takes this via paypal F&F payment. PM if interested!

SOLD!!!

This looks like an awesome package ?.  I'm still waiting on my Spectrum Next from the Kickstarter.  Hopefully it will ship soon so I can get my Spectrum on.  Good luck with the sale!

It is an excellent package indeed. I am just more of an Atari and Commodore computer guy. This is pending sale btw ;)
