dark-aleph
I've enjoyed Karl G.'s Atari word games for the past two weeks. Perfect to tease away at in these long days. I wanted to have a go myself, but lacking Karl's wit I've just gone for smut and comedy instead. The rules: one letter in an Atari 2600 title has been changed to make a whole new game. The descriptions of the new games are below. You must guess the title of the new game, and the original title as well. All of the games are classic era 2600 titles. A SFW example: In this cooking game, your French restaurant must try to compete with the fast food joint across the road by offering deep-fried salty snacks alongside your traditional fare. Answer: Frogs and Flies => Frogs and Fries. The clues are in a spoiler box, as this won't be to everybody's taste. Please put your answers in a spoiler too - just put [ spoiler ] before and [ / spoiler ] after your answer (without the spaces). 1. You're a playboy looking to high-score with everyone in the room, but you only have 1 life left. Make sure to avoid that one encounter that will leave you with a fatal venereal disease. 2. Safe sex just got dangerous. Defend yourself without compromising your sexual hygiene in this frantic... er... don't-shoot-em-up. 3. You're a cop out with the lads when you realise they're having more fun at the gay bar. Hit on the queens when your colleagues aren't watching, and win by switching orientation before dawn. 4. Dad comes in just as you're rubbing one out in an appropriately socially-distanced manner. Can you quickly deposit your load into a dessert a la American Pie? 5. You've been abducted by aliens and they look like they want to do some invasive experiments on you. Try to get away from their spaceship while you can still walk without grimacing. 6. Your mum suspects you've been downloading inappropriate material from questionable sites. Quickly burn the evidence to innocent-looking CDs before she searches your computer. 7. There's plenty of tail to jump in the outback, but watch out 'cause she's got legs and she knows how to use them. Can you still get to home base? 8. It's hard being a self-abuser when everyone's hoarded all the paper. In this strategy game, slide toilet rolls down the aisles to stave off the oncoming onanist hordes. 9. As an aged backdoor bandit in the nursing home, you must try to pull off one more rear entry before your personal hourglass runs out. 10. Your partner says there'll be no more @!#?@! unless you do some serious manscaping. Grab the scissors and try to keep things from getting out of control. Rastignac
Cops are blue. So, Smurfs Save the Day --> Smurfs Save the Gay for number three. And perhaps Jungle Hunt --> Jungle Cunt for number seven. And perhaps Bank Heist --> Back Heist for number nine.
