Yay! A game I own! And so far my system and controller are behaving. I like how the music becomes nice and pretty when you enter the maze, only to be interrupted by your plane crashing, haha. And how about how your plane bounces back when it hits the top of the first screen, but crashes in the maze ? Haven't reached the end just yet...back to looping.

Shooting blocks and taking long in the maze seem to me like legit ways to increase your score, considering the high risk you take to do so. It feels to me a strategic score boosting move as opposed to a cheap exploit. Serious skill is needed for high scores in this game; I'm just looking to beat my best along the way :)

Totally agree. Was just sharing so that others could try to deploy the same strategy to try and increase their scores.

389,515 (Skill 2). I've been fine tuning the pipe screen. It's really not extremely difficult, just a matter of practice, hitting your marks and not turning the corners too tight, leave some room for error. I had well over a 100k on my last plane for this particular score.

I can only do the pipes about 5 times before I start getting a little wild and my plane gets out of control and I crash. It only takes a little finger twitch to go up or down too far.
