FS: SCART cables, Joysticks, last Gotek, and just plain "stuff"

Recommended Posts

Just some stuff up for grabs. Shipping is not included. I really don't want to "haggle" over shipping, so please if you buy something let it be known that shipping anything generally runs $7-$8 a package anywhere in the USA. Gone are the days of $2 shipping friends ;) That said, I am pricing things accordingly in order to help make it worth your while...especially if it is something you need.

1. Three SCART cables - The blue one is a SCART S-Video cable for Atari 8-Bit computers (5-pin DIN), the other two bagged cables are a SCART S-Video for C64/128 (8-Pin DIN) and a SCART composite video for C64/Vic 20 (5-pin DIN). These cables transmit either S-video or composite video (as labeled) through a SCART connection. You cannot use them with an OSSC as the OSSC only reads RGB SCART lines. You would probably need a SCART TV to use them. The cheap SCART to HDMI boxes sold on Amazon allow composite SCART so at least the C64/Vic composite cable will work with that. $20 takes them all.

2.  New Old Stock Atari SIO Cable (5FT) - I just purchased this in Feb from MyAtari because I could not find my SIO cable. As Murphy's Law goes, I found the cable right after I ordered this. Brand new, just don't need it. $20

3. Two HDRetroVision brand component cables - Very high quality cables from my old component setup before I went SCART only - $20

4. Amiga 23-Pin RGB to SCART cable with audio - Connects to the Amiga 500/2000 (and others probably) to output RGB SCART with stereo audio. Works GREAT with an OSSC. You can use it with those cheaper SCART to HDMI boxes on Amazon too. $20

5. Gotek drive with FlashFloppy firmware. Programmed with FF Firmware to work with Amiga's, Atari ST, IBM PC and more. $30

6. C64/Amiga Genesis pad adapter - Safely use Genesis pads on your C64/C128/Vic. Has a switch for Amiga mode as well. Map on the PCB tells you what the switches do. You can make one button map to "UP" (for jumping games), both to fire buttons 1+2 (some Amiga games support this) etc. Cool little adapter. $15

7. Atari 400/800/XL/XE Donkey Kong cartridge - Works perfectly. Label a little dirty. $10

8. Two userport reset adapters - Works on C64 and Vic-20. Simply plug it into the userport (modem port) and now you have a reset button. You can use it on the C128 as well although it would be kind of redundant as the C128 already has a reset button...but whatever floats your boat!  $10 each

9. Third party Sega 32X power supply - This also works with the Game Gear and the Genesis model 2 console. Nice quality supply. - $10

10. Sega Saturn A/V cable - I believe this is a Sega OEM cable, but don't quote me on it. Either way, good quality cable. $5

11. SCSI2SD 3 1/2 bay external enclosure - Mount the SCSI2SD v5 or v6 board in a 3 /12 inch bay on a PC. I spent $15 extra for this when I ordered my SCSI2SD board just to find it doesn't mount correctly in my odd old Alienware tower so I had to 3D print an alternate enclosure anyway...argh. FREE WITH ANY PURCHASE.

12. A bunch of old controllers - The TAC-2 is the best of the bunch. It is in nearly new condition and does indeed work fine although the left button seems to register less often than the right button. Probably needs cleaning from years of use. One screw on the bottom is missing. The Keypad controller works fine. The Radio Shack CoCo deluxe controller works fine however the switches on the bottom to make the stick "loose" are not working. I did not test the paddles but I can bet they are probably jittery and need cleaning just as every paddle controller I ever repaired needed. Small slight repairs needed here but I just do not have the time. $30 for all

13. Geforce GTX 460 1GB - This card is unique as it was made and sold by NVidia themselves. NVidia pulled a 3DFX for a short period of time back then ;) Great card and will run lots of modern stuff just fine (with a little toning down of the graphic settings. No issues at all with the card....great performer. $30

14. MyTec PLAtinum PLA replacement for the C64 (all models) - Brand new. These are great. I have used them in many C64 models as PLA replacements. They run ice cold and have a little LED to represent operations when they are happening. There are a few old C64 models that need a capacitor installed for accurate timing. These are included along with the manual if you need them, but I never had to use them with any of the C64's I had. Easiest way to tell is just install it. If it works you do not need to add the capacitor, it would not work otherwise ;)

$20
