MrDave #4 Posted April 21, 2020 Thats what the Coco3 did to the coco2 ..same cpu ..just helped unleash its potential.. Alot back then was a $$$ factor.. the ti994a had 16k on the video side and only 256 bytes on the cpu side.. it was a $$$ limitation.. Im sure the designers might of liked 64k each side .. Yup This would have been impractical back in the day to say the least due to the RAM available at the time. Yes, they could have done more with the GIME, but it also would have cost more.
