Michael Kline #3 Posted April 23, 2020 Thanks! It looks pretty cool. I renamed .BIN extension to .BAS. I did notice that I got I/O errors when it accessed the data files on my SDC. Using the "[email protected]" command to switch from SDC-DOS to DECB solves this problem

Very cool the cart has the ability to switch to DECB for full compatiblity to play the game.
Michael Kline #6 Posted April 27, 2020 The I/O error pops up after first running the programme and accessing one of the data files. So, there must be a routine within the programme that is not compatible with SDC-DOS. The cool part of the SDC, is that it has 128K of Flash memory on board, split into 8 banks. Bank 0 has the SDC-DOS, and Bank 1 has DECB. The rest of the available banks are available for user's use. If I understand correctly, DECB is linked to SDC-DOS in normal operation. However, there are a few programmes that conflict with SDC-DOS. When this happens, the "[email protected]#" (# from 0 to 7) allows the user to switch banks and reboot. Using [email protected], switches and boots Bank 1, which just contains DECB. Just make sure that the desired disk(s) are mounted prior to shifting.
