STARBUG Posted May 9, 2020 Share Posted May 9, 2020 As of late, I've found myself addicted to speedrunning (Megadrive games), so haven't been keeping up with my Atari 8 Bit gaming unfortunately (missed a whole round ?). Made some time this morning thankfully. First time playing gridrunner, not a bad game at all, I'm guessing if you play it long enough it your brain adapts to the movements/attacks from different directions, though my own brain wasn't at it's best this morning ?. I always thought LA Swat was a fun game, good for it's time. Quite enjoyed it still, though my d-pad is fecked, I kept running into death quite a bit. McKong in runner-up spot with graywest making it onto the podium Both games played fairly well, though it was very hard to make progress with Gridrunner, possibly the 2010 version we played before was better in this respect LA SWAT really surprised me in that it was a very good HSC play, not a lot of fun otherwise as it's too repetative and lacking in incentive, we'll have to try Gun Law and Commando soon OK Let's find out what won the R9 poll!!!
