FS: Ultimate CoCo3 setup, CoCoMech keyboard, CoCoSDC, more **SOLD**

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have decided to sell my CoCo3 setup. Not that I need to sell it, but I am simply limited in space and because of that it is connected in an area where I cannot really use it comfortably....so I really never use it.

It is a Color Computer 3 that is in excellent condition. It looks like new. It has a 512MB upgrade installed as well as a CoCoMech keyboard:

Unbelievable keyboard....you have to use it to understand.

Also included is a CoCoSDC device:

https://thezippsterzone.com/mpis-coco-sdc-etc/

Which comes with an SD card already set up and ready to go with everything.

And, it comes with one original deluxe controller as well as a set of these joystick adapters to allow standard DB9 controllers to connect to the machine:

And also comes with a Switch-a-roo SCART adapter (which I use to connect this to the OSSC):

All of this is currently connected in my setup and looks and works like new. I just cannot use it to any amount of enjoyment because I am out of space and this is currently connected while sitting 6FT high ;) Therefore, again, I do not use it much. But, a lot of money went into this so I would at minimum want to get back what I put in. Therefore I would be asking $400 for this setup, plus shipping. If anyone is interested you can reach out to me now, or wait until I can get pictures of it up......that is if there is any interest in this set :)

***SOLD!!***

That sounds HAWT! I'm not in the market for a CoCo but dang, sounds like you tricked it out nice and that price is terrific.  Someone buy this before I lose all will power!

My goal with it was to have the ultimate CoCo3...and I really believe I have achieved that. If a buyer surfaces he will certainly be very pleased ;)

Bump. I have had some interest in this and while I still have to get more pictures done, I have attached one of the unit running the excellent Donkey Kong port from John Kowalski. This picture was taken a few weeks ago...just to give you an idea how nice this really looks.

Bump! Been lazy with additional pictures (I know) but I just wanted to chime in and say that the price is not set in stone. While this set ran me a lot of cash and there's very little wiggle room I am still up for offers.

I am also up for trades. I am currently collecting Jaguar stuff, so if you have some items you are willing to part with maybe we can make a deal.

Bump. Pictures FINALLY added. As you can see, the picture is incredibly good via RGB SCART. If you have an OSSC or a RGB2COMP (or even one of those SCART to HDMI boxes on Amazon) you will enjoy this type of quality display. The CoCoSDC is configured to go right into the explorer on power on, so it is very easy to use and navigate games and applications.

I will certainly miss this, but gotta make room. PM if interested!

Wow, very, very nice! If I hadn't committed to saving money until we're recovering from COVID-19, I would definitely consider this.
