Sanriostar #1 Posted July 20, 2003 I've got about 3 NES Advantages, and I want to adapt it into a Right Handed controller (it'll look upside down, but be re-wired for Right handed play). So after getting off the two screws on the bottom, *Now What?* I can't get any futher into it. Help?
Nukey Shay #2 Posted July 20, 2003 There are screws underneath the rubber footpads IIRC. But why would you want to try this? It's going to be hard to redirect the traces on the circuit board for the buttons and the stick...and the turbo knobs are always going to be in the way. Sanriostar #3 Posted July 21, 2003 I've got a few of these things, (So if the experiment fails, it's not that much of a loss) and I was playing Pac-Man with my right hand using the Advantage. I loved it. The turbo knobs won't bug me too much.
JB #4 Posted July 21, 2003 Personally, I'd make a "button box" that you could plug in so you'd have your buttons in a seperate unit that could be positioned wherever you wanted(ever wanted gas and break pedals for Rad Racer? ), maybe even switchable between internal and external buttons(who really uses the player 1/2 switch?).
