Mr.FoodMonster #1 Posted July 21, 2003 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...egory=3528&rd=1 i sadly got outbid on this. i would have easily payed $25 for it (i decied to take MegaManFan's method of how much to pay for a single cart) any ideas on why in the world this 8 only went for that tiny bit? this is really strange isnt it?? Brad2600 #2 Posted July 21, 2003 You'd be better off to go for common games at first and then try to hit the rarity 4-rarity 6 range once you have acquired enough commons. It takes time. I am only 6 carts away from 200 and it takes quite a while. It helps if you have a niche..such as all the Activision carts or CBS carts or such. Focus on one company and try aquiring everything you can find for cheap.
Mr.FoodMonster #3 Posted July 21, 2003 i have been doing that, but its always nice to find a higher rarity for cheap, like this one =D i havnt quite decided on what company to get first, but im thinking about going for coleco at the moment. i only have 2 games right now but thats bound to change. rpmxxipt #4 Posted July 21, 2003 It looks cheap because you didn't try to find out what the winner's maximum bid amount was. -rpm-
Brad2600 #5 Posted July 22, 2003 Best bet? Go for the common games, boyo! You'll thank me later when your collection is nearing 200 carts and you have no more shelf space. LOL.
