Universal Remote for a TV from '95?

Didn't think this was technical enough to go in the "hardware" section, but if it needs moved, please do so.

 

I have this 14" VCR/TV Combo that works great, but needs to have the brightness (I think) taken down a notch.   I have no remote that seems to work with this thing, though.  Anyone happen to know of a remote that will work with this model?  Or, if not, happen to know a way to adjust it without a remote?

Ebay is your friend.  I looked up to see if any of the original remotes for that TV model were available and found this:  MAGNAVOX 483521937133 TV VCR Remote Control w/Batteries CCS138, CCS138AT

I searched ebay using that and come up short.  My search, however, does find a used Doll Pet, whatever that is  ?

Ya same search for me.  Could not find that part number.  But found this universal.  Has a 50/50 chance of working.  And since its made my Magnavox probably more chance.
