Omega-TI
When you buy a mouse these days, wired or wireless, the minimum they come with is two buttons and a wheel. Does anyone know if there is a set of standards "on the table" for the TIPI mouse to utilize all three?
+jedimatt42
Tipi uses a lowest common denominator device on linux to read the mouse... it can read the middle button ( click the wheel ) but not the scroll of the wheel... https://github.com/jedimatt42/tipi/wiki/Extension-Mouse responsive scrolling isn't likely to ever be fun on a 4A... Let's see if we can get people to write software that makes good use of the 3 buttons before wanting more... I'd have to rewrite how the mouse is read completely to get scroll events... 1

Thanks Matt you answered my question. And I agree, no point supporting more if it's not all being used yet.

A nice game of Missile Command using the mouse and two or three buttons would be cool!
