What new homebrew should Dr Ports make next?

I think Tapper and Elevator Action would be, running about all the stuff that makes an Intellivision game fun:

1. Good replay value, yeah they are about the high score but would have longevity and. It be a curiosity and something for to sit on a collector shelf.

2. For the Intellivision graphics capabilities without a lot of pain. I think we have seen from AF and Intellivania and Prince of Persia mini demos that “sleight of hand” can be done well with MOBs and BACKTAB to give multicolor sprites and animation.

3. They are not overly taxing with sound, so having good background tunes going while reserving 1-2 voices for gameplay is possible.

4. The controllers could be used without spraining anyone’s thumb (some of us our thumbs are getting old).

Please make it so! And if you need background music for something please send me a direct message I do have a little free time coming up if you need it.

Wing war could even improve over the original giving a goal to the game, like an end boss or something to complete.

I remember the CV game as almost unplayable once you get the first super cristal and a sort of chimera appears

What about Lemmings?

Perhaps instead of the Lemmings characters, there could be the Intellivision "running men" ?

Do you think this is possible to program such a game on the Intellivision?

It has not been none on any of the pre-NES gaming systems to my knowledge.

Did anyone ever play Lost Vikings on PC? Fairly straight foward platformer but you had 3 vikings, all with specific abilities, that you had to switch between and use in combination to beat each level

Might be a bit much for our good old Intellys to handle?

I have it for Amiga. It‘s from a tiny company now called Blizzard. ;)

I think the number of moving elements would present a significant challenge. But if compromises are made, who knows?

Regarding Lemmings, I can't imagine playing it without a mouse. Using the disc to move the pointer would be interesting, in particular if it simulates accelerated movement of an analog device like a mouse or trackball. But I could be wrong, and it is fully playable with a regular digital joystick type controller.

Something along the lines of LV is fairly doable I think.
