I'd peruse the preservation site and thread to see how many verified copies have been made or if others are needed. But since I do not like CAS files, I either have a pure data copy (not bootable!) on a DOS 2 disk or a (bootable) CSIM copy. So attached you can find Cybernome (8k) and Shatablast (10.5k) as datacopies and CSIM copies. Both programs are single-stage tapes (so *.CAS and *.TAP is the same data). Record the audio as stereo WAV-file and make sure the datatrack (the beeps) is on the right channel. I am now using my second ION Tape Express. I have used my first one very extensively for about 4 years and then the play head came loose. As they are so cheap (especially second hand) I did not try to repair it and bought another one.
