Atarimax 8mbit Carts

So I have 7 unused 8mbit carts. With the new multi game carts available that use SD or CF cards the Atarimax carts in my collection are not used for that any longer. I’m wondering what the community has put on there Atarimax carts? I’ve dedicated one to Space Harrier but what else really benefits from it? Looking for suggestions...

@8bitguy1,

Without a realtime clock...

SpartaDos X,

SpartaDOS X and 4 OSS cart special all in one....

AtariBlast

SpaceHarrier

Summer Games

Ultima II

or Ultima III as well...

perhaps you wanna play Ultima IV

Conan the Barbarian both disks on a cart no flipping and fast

M.U.L.E.

couple full game conversions have been done that not only sit on the 8mega bit carts but also save score etc

kona disk cart

and a pretty cool disk cart... that is to say it acts like a bunch disks with file on it, high speed too...

Maybe a trip to the AtariMax 8 Mbit cart forum would be best, there's so many.... just skip over compilations as you work your way down.

so  have at it @8bitguy1   :)

I have the PacMan that was made available here on Atariage a few years ago by Tepp.  Is Mr. Fish's different/better?

AtariBlast seems like a good one.

I did check out the Atarimax forums but most of the posts are so old I thought Atariage might have more recent information on games that work/need an Atarimax 8mbit cart.

You could put one of Wrathchild's big Infocom_AtrQuads onto one 8mbit cartridge. More than one won't fit and there are six to choose from   ?

You would need a real disk (or disk emulator) to do game saves.

Probably easier to use all the ATRs on a disk emulator but the above is option  :)

Hawkquest is another title moved onto Atarimax 8mbit cart.  It was originally on 4 disk sides = 360k.  Saves all the constant disk swapping that was required for it.  Game saves are suppose to be working.  Been a while since I checked that out.  It's somewhere in the Atarimax forum.
