Hi,

 

Seems the same file I got. How do you enable the construction kit?  Tried with the on screen options and no use.

Afaik,

only some levels in the unaltered Brik Bat game allow to shoot at your opponent. Think in the 90s I found out that you simply have to change one byte at the beginning of each level to allow shooting for every level you want. Made a copy of the disk and then compared the sectors of a level where I could shoot with the sectors of a level where I could not shoot. In the end I changed ALL levels in such a way that you can shoot at your opponent...

My thoughts were, shooting shouldn't be all the time just MOST of the time...

 

Some idea in my head was this game but the the bricks determine a power just like unicum, or arkanoid..

 

Now that would set it off!  catch, speed, aim, lazers, shot... and maybe a destroy your enemy bomb.... that sort of thing....

I have been in contact with the author on facebook last week. A copy of Brik-bat turned up on Ebay. After I lost the auction I found out it was bought by the original author, who did not have a copy. I have asked him to dump the tape for preservation, I hope he will!
