zip parallel and atari st

Hey there

 

Does anyone know of any information about linking a pc parallel port version of a zip drive to an atari stfm? Is this possible cos i know that in order to do it to an amiga, it takes some semi serious wiring and meddling (due to incompatible parallel ports compared to pc). Is this the same problem with the st and pc??

Cant be done since the ST Parallel Port doesnt utilize all the pins (as I have been told)

 

However I believe someone has a hack that can correct this.

 

I ended up getting a 'cartridge' Network card in order to transfer large files to and from my Mega 2 to my PC (cant map a network drive with TOS 1.4)

I'm not sure, but probably... You can try read instruction of HD-Driver. I use SCSII ZIP Drive in my TT's, but, HD Driver use more drivers like various ZIP/Jazz/SyQuest... Maybe can use paraller one?
