MiSTer mr.Spinner with CX-30 paddles success?

Been trying to get Atari CX-30 paddles to work with my MiSTer for the last few weeks.  I had some Stelladapters that won't work, bought some 2600-dapters which also did not work.  Finally built and programmed the MiSTer suggested mr.Spinner today.  The buttons work, but no dice on the potentiometers.  Has anyone else had success with this before I dig deeper into the code and hardware?
