Best Communications software?

Can anyone advise what the best communications software would be for a STe with an external modem? I have a copy of "Flash", but am assuming that something better has come along since 1987.

Depends on what exactly you're wanting to use it for. Flash served me quite well up until around 1994, when I simply became tired of not being able to see ANSI in it's full 16 color glory. The only other terminal program I've used on the ST is ANSITerm, which is (or was) quite buggy. However, I often found myself going back to Flash whenever I didn't need ANSI color. I know that doesn't really answer your question, but Flash should serve it's purpose just fine if you can't find anything else.

Back in the day I used Fizzy. Supported ANSI VT52 and pretty much anything, worked great very powerful.. you can download it from the remains of my BBS website
