griff3125
Any recommendations on where to find those small plastic rivets with the push through pins on the 800 motherboard? Having cleaned some connections up, I noticed mine are quite worn, one of them is very stubborn to stay in place. It's nothing mission critical but it'd be nice to know if there are replacements out there.
griff3125
For clarification, attached is the highlighted rivet / standoff in question.
+DrVenkman
Atari used those same rivets in a number of products including pinning the SIO ports on some 1200XLs. I can’t tell you the model number or if the same exact style is still manufactured 40 years later, but I just googled “plastic push rivets” then looked at the images returned. Looks like hardware/houseware places like Lowe’s and Home Depot in the US sell similar fasteners today. I’m sure a detailed search through a commercial supply catalog with dimensions would find you a basically perfect replacement.
