Scart switchbox

Hi All,

 

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can obtain a 3-way switchable (selectable) scart switchbox that is compatible with Jaguar?

 

My existing one isn't and I assume this is due to it not being fully wired to 21 pins.

 

For interest, I'm planning on having one of my Jags hooked up alongside a Saturn and a Multimega.

Its more than 3 way and a bit pricey but I recommend gscartsw available here: http://www.gretrostuff.com/store/. I have one and works great with Jaguar and other systems with rgb output (including modded systems).  A 170 page thread on his switches found on Shumps forum here: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50851

 

Otherwise, there are 5 position  Bainbridge scart switches which you might still be able to find on EBay.

Top one definitely a bit pricey. 

I think I may have found one so just enquiring with the seller if it's fully wired.

If the one you found doesn't work out, the Bandridge switches work well. I have two of the push-button switches that I use.

 

The only issue with these is that power can flow back into other consoles connected to the switch, so it's best to open up the switch and cut one of the traces.

Thank you. I have a plastic silver 4 way switch box that's fully wired but fit the life of me I can't see who it's made by. This is for my main Jag/other consoles set up. 

Never known power flow problems with that one thankfully.

Ones that do it properly are not cheap these days. I'd probably go with the Otaku in your position.

I've had the Bandridge, gscartsw and now a Whydra2.1, recommend them all.
