I’m very much still on the fence about the bats... you do earn some decent points for them. And the poor spider is just kinda there. When I wanted my guy to move a certain way, he didn’t, and I got killed a couple times when I shouldn’t have. I think this might be the worst controlling/least responsive game on the entire system. While I agree what you are saying is annoying, the dying and then having the robots all huddled around where you re-spawn giving you instant kill after kill after kill and then GAME OVER is what pisses the sh*t outta me the most.
