This will probably be my only score submission for this round, since I kinda suck at Enduro and it took me a good 2 hours of practice (and no small amount of swearing in frustration) just to get the patch score, but hey at least I got the bonus!

After just barely getting the patch score last night I thought I was done with Enduro, but this morning I decided what the heck, I'll play one more game before breakfast. It went unexpectedly awesomely

Haha-not quite the same thing, but I am above average on 16 bit racing games(and typically timed racing games in general), but IRL I rarely drive.

I CAN, and I drive fine, I just...don't.

I've always wished I could play this with a paddle controller like night driver.  This was the closest I came to finishing day 3.  Is the patch score getting to day 5 or finishing it?

It's just getting to day 5, so all you've got to do is finish day 4 and you've earned the patch. My best advice is to just drive at a medium speed that feels comfortable enough to give you ample reaction time to dodge the cars without getting in collisions. Putting the pedal to the metal usually results in crashes that set you way back, so "slow and steady wins the race" is the name of the game here.

555. I'm pretty sure I have the Enduro cart, so it may be worthwhile to pull out the old Vader and see if using a joystick can improve my score. I always find myself stuck on the fourth lap on emu.

Slight score improvement, but Day 8 is definitely my nemesis in this game. On the 8th day the traffic congestion gets so heavy that it's reaaaaally difficult to pass dense groups of cars without accidentally clipping one of them and setting yourself way back. On the flip side, I went into this round of the HSC strongly disliking Enduro but after having spent the time playing it for the past week it's actually grown on me quite a bit and is now a game that I really enjoy playing.
