eegad #1 Posted July 24, 2020 Does anyone happen to a program that will generate a random maze in Atari Basic, in either graphics mode 7 or 8? I have one that works nicely in graphics mode 0, but doesn't lend itself to non-text modes. Thanks.

Irgendwer #3 Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) Boot the attached disk in Basic. Then RUN "D1:LABYRINT.BAS" It works in GR. 3+16, but you can easily change that to e.g. 7+16 and adapt the coordinate limits... (Edit: And "stack" size...) Rybags #4 Posted July 25, 2020 I remember a game in Compute! that generated a maze in Basic. It was only in a low-res mode (probably 5) but likely it could easily be adapted for other sizes. No idea what it was called though, we're probably talking sometime between late 1982 to mid 1984.
Wilheim #5 Posted July 25, 2020 A.N.A.L.O.G. has a maze generator as well, in the game Motorcycle Maze Rider, created by Charles Bachand.
