No it hardly worked at all, the second photo shows the reflection off scanner is almost to much to see the screen even when using white text on black screen. But seriously, It's the character sprite from the Sega Master System and Game Gear versions of Space Harrier. Which otherwise graphically differ in a lot of respects, but with the SMS version as the starting point for the GG version, which I consider a lot more playable. I'm a big Space Harrier fan, and love it for being one of those games/franchises that was ported to practically everything in the late 80s, regardless of the apparent impossibility. Including versions/variations for Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, PC-88, MSX, and Sharp X1. And there's a modern version for Atari 8-bit. Still hoping for a TI-99 version some day. But it would be a hell of a project. So many distinct enemy types, with their own pathing and scaling. It'd be a heck of a project.
