Divarin
I'm looking for an Atari ST floppy drive, working. I'm not wanting a PC floppy drive that "will work" in an ST I want an official ST drive that actually fits in the case properly and lines up with the disk eject button hole on the case. I'm sure someone out there has taken out their floppy drive to install a gotek so I'm betting there's some lying around collecting dust. I'm looking to go the other way, I acquired an ST that has a gotek in it already and I'd rather have the stock floppy drive.
zzip
I believe I still have a few in my basement, but which style do you need? Some ST drives have a large eject button in the middle, while others have a smaller eject button on the left.
Divarin
Here's my FDD "hole" Since I don't see a cutout just for the eject button I'm assuming it'd be the large one in the middle.
eightbit
What a lazy Gotek install the last owner has done. There are 3D prints that make it look great and make it sturdy....but looks like he just dropped it in there and let it flop around
djglish
Let me take a look in my box of Atari parts. I might have a drive with the large eject button. It might be from an ST or it might be from one of the external atari drives (don't remember the model number). then I'll have to see if it still works. Just recently started looking at my Atari stuff again.
djglish
I have two drives with that style of cutout. One is 34mm high and has two rows on the floppy connector. The face color is gray so it may have come out of an external drive The second is 40mm high and has one row on the floppy connector. Not sure if either one works. You can have either (or both) for the cost of shipping

Your statement makes no sense in relation to what I was talking about. And, why are you sorry?
