goldengalaxiesgaming
Pac-Man is ported to so many systems. This Jakks pacific plug and play from 2007 is an excellent arcade port and includes other great Namco titles.
Luc
I have two of these which I bought in a toy shop in the same period also. Do you happen to know if it's possible to connect these to a monitor to play? Here's a pic:

You can connect them to a monitor if there's a yellow input for the video and a white input for the audio.
tep392
Does that version have a 4-way or 8-way joystick? I have another version of the Jakks Pacific with the same games but Bosconian isn't really playable with the 4-way it uses.

It's really good and so is the button.

This is the one I have which uses a 4-way gate. I've thought about disassembling it and modifying to work as an 8-way.
RJ
^^^^^That's the one I have. Somehow they messed up Xevious, it's completely borked & unplayable but they make up for that with the awesome twisty-stick for Pole Position. Finally a playable home version of PP! Bosconian gameplay is a bit limited with the 4-way control, but I'm pretty good at Bosco so I just consider it a handicap/added challenge. tep392
That is clever the way they integrated the rotary control.

I've got this plug n play also, i didn't play a lot of bosconian, but didn't realize it was a 4 way stick, and still got 200k. But yes, its a lot better with an 8 way stick. As soon as I discovered the 4way limit I just play the Pac games and rallyx which work great
RJ
That version of Xevious has numerous gameplay elements that are either missing or just plain wrong.

Some of these versions are ports, others are NES versions. And in other cases are emulation, it just depends. So that's not too suprising if it isn't accurate. But its still playable. later -
lymontyme
I think the twisty unit also had Ms. Pac-Man, which had a bug where you could go into the tunnel and sometimes get stuck in the wall. Kind of the opposite of the Atari Pac-Man bug, where you can get stuck in the vertical column in the center and go through the walls.
