ZippyRedPlumber
Hypothetically if one was to make story-based games, would it be possible to include more than 1 title screen kernal?
+Karl G
The short answer is no. You can't have more than one title screen in a game. The longer answer, though, is that if you design your game with the multi kernel framework, then you can get this to work.
ZippyRedPlumber
Follow-up: Would a title screen be used as a playfield element? I want to add something like the giant snake from "G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike" into my game

There's a minikernel within the titlescreen kernel that can display the player graphics within its own area, but there's no way to do something like you are thinking. The Titlescreen Kernel also contains a comprehensive manual in PDF format that explains what it can and can't be used for. I know it can be a lot to wrap your hear around since it's separate from the bB screen you are used to working with, but it's all pretty well documented. The snake body in particular requires being able to shift the graphics around line by line as you draw the screen.
