missumj #1 Posted August 18, 2020 (edited) it works, but the screen is faded, some strange lines and water-drops are under it. i heard that replacing the polarizer or reflector may solve the problem of faded screen, but i don't know about these lines and water-drops. anyone help? Tanooki #3 Posted August 18, 2020 The polarizer might, but I kind of doubt it. The LCD may have just faded to death with age. As far as the streaks and drops, moisture got in there, so it's not long for the world if you don't dry it out as water and electronics don't mix. I'm not really sure it's worth even fixing, but if you can get it dried out, and find a cheap polarizer sheet and cut it to fit to see if it fixes the massive fading it's basically a lost cause.
