Taylor the Gaming Guy
And I'm also doing SG-1000 games onto ColecoVision.
Swami
Aliens. There is the c64/zx version and square’s msx version, but never made it to the 8-bit consoles, unless you count the pac-man style one for the 2600.
Taylor the Gaming Guy
I'm doing my own Candoo Ninja SGM port for ColecoVision. So far, it's just blinking.
Taylor the Gaming Guy
I was wondering if anyone in the Pixelboy team wants to put the game Dynamite Go! Go! on the ColecoVision as an SGM game. https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/general-discussion/dynamite-go-go

With this said, I should point out that I'm down to five Team Pixelboy games I want to release, namely Asteroids, Star Castle, Space Shuttle, Utopia and Arabian. I have no plans to take on any other project after this. So if any other CV homebrewer wants to port this game to the ColecoVision, you don't have to worry about lil' old me. Taylor the Gaming Guy
I might also do Hype, which is another great SHMUP, but hard.
Bobby Nelson
If you're considering suggestions I have one! ? It would be awesome to see the SG-1000 version of Rock n bolt ported to the CV. ?

Rock'n Bolt was released on ColecoVision by Telegames back in the 80s, and it's a very nice version too.
Taylor the Gaming Guy
I would say Bomb Jack, but that's been done by CollectorVision in another way.
Taylor the Gaming Guy
How bout Guzzler? That seems like an SG-1000 game never done yet.

carlsson
Does the SGM 2 feature a 9939 VDP then, bypassing the built-in graphics in the ColecoVision? As you may know, both Metal Gear games are for the MSX2 so those run on the later graphics chip, not the good old 9918/28/29.
Taylor the Gaming Guy
But I'm running out of ideas since all of you great coders are converting a lot of games.

carlsson
For those whose long-term memory is less than 6 months, I could repeat that the MG-alike game Prisoner of War (also MSX1) already was ported to ColecoVision by Team Pixelboy. Sure you could consider that Prisoner of War is an inferior game to the real Metal Gear series and keep looking for a full port, but as mentioned you need extra hardware with a different graphics chip on top of anything else that you need to add to your ColecoVision to play it.
