Machine
So I have a broken Jaguar motherboard(can not be repaired), and was wondering if anyone has come up with a good/cool use for it? Someone mentioned making a clock out of it, but are there any other uses people have done or come up with?
RARusk
Clean it up and put in a frame - make it art. I've seen it done with controllers and cartridges. Why not with motherboards? Include the logo and some data with it.

neo_rg
I've repaired a clock jaguar back to working condition, and a jaguar that had been hard modified into a Jamma plug in. If a Jag looks like it's beyond repair then I just use them for spare parts.
Machine
I am sure neo_rg could probably fix it, but after shipping, repair, return shipping, it wouldnt be worth it. It is not the usual wrong plug problem. I do like the idea of doing an all glass shadow box. ....or maybe go the flava flav route: 4
Machine
So I stumbled across this shadow box at walmart. Looks kinda cool and the board is mounted with two push pins so it hasn't been further damaged.
+Saturn
Nice, is that the 12" x 12"? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-12-x-12-Shadowbox-Black/24311970
RARusk
A revision to that should be a lighter colored background with the logo and data (as mentioned earlier) but the background should be made of thin plastic with screw posts added to it so you can actually screw the motherboard down and also have the screws themselves become part of the artwork. I have almost ordered a few off of Amazon and even went to Hobby Lobby but did not find any I liked. This one at Wally World is perfect and less that 1/2 the price of the others.
