ijor Posted August 23, 2020 Share Posted August 23, 2020 Almost all software runs, but many, perhaps most games run slower than they were designed. In many case the music sounds slower, and the general pace of the game is slower and then it is usually easier to beat. The other way around is also true. Some european games are a bit too fast when played on an US machine. Note that the country flag you see at Atarimania doesn't have much to do with this. The flag only indicates where a specific release was published. Not where the software was originally developed, which is what usually matters.
