Curt Vendel has passed away. :(
I just heard that Curt Vendel passed away unexpectedly yesterday, as reported by his good friend Marty Goldberg on Facebook:

I am shocked, dismayed, and terribly sad to hear this, as I've known Curt for 20 years and spoke with him on a regular basis. Curt has contributed a great deal to the classic gaming community over the years and he will be missed.
Curt Vendel's family has created a GoFundMe campaign to help with his daughter's college education. Curt was a stalwart figure in the classic gaming community, spending countless hours digging up and sharing information for over 30 years via his AtariMuseum.com website.
