thecaver99
anyone know how i read the output from an st via serial with diagnostic cart running?
TGB1718
Not got one myself, but if it outputs data via RS232 Port then I would assume it's communicating to a dumb terminal usually a VT52/VT100. This can be emulated on a PC with a USB to RS232 Adapter and run something like Putty https://www.putty.org/ to emulate the terminal. Remember the ST needs to set the baud rate to 19200 , 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control
snarkdluG
The diag cart is set to and sends the data over at 9600 Baud.
