I'm sure these have been talked about but I want to give my impression and welcome feedback.

 

I'm 51 and owned a 4 switch and a number of games back in the late 70's early 80's.

 

I personally think the controller is fantastic as a paddle for kaboom and since I cut that crazy shaped rubber top off the joystick with a utility knife the joystick is awesome. I liked it a lot before doing this but thumb slipping off was annoying.

 

I'm loving Pac-Man 8k as much or more than the arcade game. Made it to the second pear.

I dont like it very much. It is not so good replacement for a joystick, in my opinion. It is sometimes hard to do precise moves using that joypad. Paddle wheel is not bad, but I think it is not so good as a real paddle (I never played a game with a paddle, just waiting for 2600daptor to connect it to my Retron).
