TV Mode not stored?

Recommended Posts

Using PlusCart ver. 0.14.15

When I go to Setup and change the TV Mode to PAL (or PAL 60Hz), the mode is changed.

However when I turn off & on my '2600, the TV mode is back to NTSC again.

It seems like the TV Mode isn't stored?

Btw: the new 32-char text is amazing!

I think so. Does that affect storing the value?

The user settings are stored in flash, by an eeprom emulation routine. When the end of the storage is reached it should get erased at the next write event and writing should start from the beginning of the storage again.

But there seems to be a bug in this routine

Should be fixed in the new release:

@Dionoid it might be that your second next user settings changes (Font or TV mode) do not work as expected, but from then on everything should be fine.

The lowercase?

Edit: NM I see you mean the change from the 1st text display system to the 2nd

Yes, it's fixed now. Thanks!

I wanted to append "FIXED " to the title of this topic, but apparently that isn't supported on this forum.
