bluejay
While learning about the KIM-1, I discovered a program called The Incredible KIMplement, which is a great KIM-1 emulator that runs on a Commodore 64. I have a bunch of questions to ask, both about the emulator and the KIM-1. I'll be asking as I encounter problems, and answers would be greatly appreciated! I hope there are at least a few people here who has used the KIMplement before:) First, is there a way to perform a destructive reset without resetting the C64(the 128 in my case) and re-loading the program? Did you have to shut the computer off to do this on a real KIM-1? Second, when loading KIM-1 programs with the special .bin files downloaded from the KIMplement website, you have to go to TTY mode, then run the program, right? Lastly(for now), on programs that come in multiple .bin files such as Microchess, you have to load all of them and then run it, correct? Thanks in advance!
