Rogerpoco
Street Racer Game 7-99, 62(?)point margin? Just noticed the "point difference" in the bonus, that will make this interesting, NICE!!! I thought it was "one and done". Looking forward to Astroblast, for sure-The bonuses have been kind to me, this one was a piece of cake and I knew it, but last week's really was a bit of luck, "perfect" came pretty quick. I know this game tho, so it wasn't a big ordeal. Haha, I have the "maxout" on this listed elsewhere-at the time, I don't think I realized it was "Skiing". +Atari_Warlord
Astroblast = 2,545 Thought I was doing well until the suicide guys showed up and started wiping me out. Speedway II = 99-36 = 63 This has a special place in my heart as I bought it with the system so I could use the paddles. Target Fun and this were my first two games.

Lauren Tyler
Astroblast: 5,060 (Between me and thee, when I first played this game, the loud noise always scared me. I remember when the game ended I was always happy to have a little peace and quiet! If only I'd known about volume controls!) Street Racer - Game 7: 99-32=67 (For Three Stooges fans like myself, the number 67 has a special meaning.)

DrMooCowz
Astroblast: 3625 Street Racer: 99-31=68 Bonus Bonus: This Atari I'm using likes to randomly get a crappy picture, fuzzy, and black & white. So, that made these more of a challenge. 1

Skippy B. Coyote
Woohoo! More paddle games! I'm starting off this round right with a new personal best high score in Astroblast, though I only beat my previous high score by a couple thousand points since everything always goes to heck for me in this game when the speed picks up at 50,000 points. Still, I'm happy to have beaten my previous high score since that's always my goal in any round of the HSC. Street Racer was pretty fun too and not bad at all for a super early 2600 game, I might revisit it again later in the week to see if I can improve my score. Astroblast (Game 1, A/B Difficulty): 57,465 Street Racer (Game 7, B/B Difficulty): 99 - 35 = 64
AtariWarlord
Astroblast 6,625. 12,030. Did you really think I was going to settle for my lowly four-digit score when some of you maniacs are already scoring so high? Not tonight Uncle Fritz -- not tonight. fakecortex
Wooo just got 99 on Street Slalom. I like that there’s a lot of variations on this cart. Another game that will play great head-to-head. Anyone got any hot tips for this one? My trusted book only says it’s fun, hahaha. To get those scores, I’m guessing you all just hold down the gas and hang on for dear life. Street Racer game 7: 99-38 (61pt lead) Unfortunately, I do not have Astroblast, and playing on emu with a PS3 controller is just not cutting it. It looks like a lot of fun, but paddle required. It’s controlling so poorly for me, I may end up with participation points ? I’ll try a bit more before my first post.

Lauren Tyler
First time I've ever made it into 5-digit territory: 21,380! Biggest piece of advice I can give: Don't try to shoot everything. You will lose points, it's only inevitable. Just do your best to shoot what you can. Your biggest priorities, though, should be the spinners. If you see one, shoot it or prepare to forfeit a life (and points!) Also, be careful of shooting objects that are close to your base. A meteor that is too close to your base when you shoot it could break in two and still crush you. Most of all, the best thing to do is just hold down the button to shoot first and ask questions later! 5

Sure you were on the right game? There’s a two player version of slalom... Oh, also, I know that difficulty A takes away a point when you crash (but then it seems to give it right back when you continue past the gap?) so maybe that was actually switched on and it affected the cpu the same way, keeping it incredibly low? Oh, also, I know that difficulty A takes away a point when you crash (but then it seems to give it right back when you continue past the gap?) so maybe that was actually switched on and it affected the cpu the same way, keeping it incredibly low? Y'know, my assumption was to play BB(and I did), but it doesn't actually say that(yet), so I guess that's a moderator call-"as it stands", if the diff switch was the "why", then the rules don't disallow that. *Edit* I've gotten "27" several times now, usually on the throttle most of the time, with only a crash or two-10 DOES seem a tad low, but I'm not one to say anything is impossible, I've seen Impossible done too many times. *Second Edit* OK, I've played it on A/B now a few times(A/A makes the gap a tad smaller I think, and sucks...), and am down to 99-5. JUST my opinion, but I think A/B mebbe should be allowed, is "same rules" if everyone can use them, and i think someone might be able to get a "1" or "2", that would be neat to see...
