Based on the cable sitting in front of it, it appears to have the ultra-rare Nintendo A/V conversion. Totally worth it.

I'll offer him a crisp $20 and spend the remaining $1980 in gas driving there and back.  It's only a 1,200 mile round trip.  Worth it.

This is an original Atari 2600 in excellent condition and still works. Comes with original leather cover, two joystick controllers, two double paddle controllers, two single paddle controllers, and all connection cords.

I got as far as opening it in Gmail before I decided it was a bad idea to ask for paid sex (people still use Craigslist for that right?). Which is ironic because it would have been worth more than the atari.

You should confirm if he's asking for Mexican Pesos.  At $2000 MXN, you'd spend about $92 US at the current exchange rate.

Nope he wants USD. I asked him in one email if he meant $200, he replied, and I quote

"no. it's worth that much and it's an original. barely ever used. nothing is wrong with it. "

Is that real Corinthian leather?  If so, that must be worth a lot!

 

Also, there appears to be a switching power supply (replacement) with this unit.  Think of the energy savings compared to a vintage wall wart!
