I now have nntp on thekeep.net

When users were still able to call into my BBS, I had a connection/feed to comp.sys.ti as well through the fidonet/retronet network.  I think Chris has it partially implemented on his BBS last I checked, but only with older content as he copied my content, but did not establish the up/down link.

I'm using the NNTP client in the software I run, worldgroup 3.xx

Another BBS is hosting BBS's free at this point

Oh, I thought you were doing something fancy :P  I ask because I have considered running a local nntp node using INN.  Apparently the nntp daemon I have in Solaris is not up to the task (does not support secure connections.)  As well, since Sprint/Embarq/CenturyLink have long since decommissioned their news servers, I would have to find another up-stream for money.  That is pretty cool you BBS guys are working together like this.

I dunno if my ISP offers NNTP or not... I should check.  I remember once upon a time it was a standard feature of ISPs.. but that was aeons ago.

The server resolves but does not respond.  I am surprised it resolves at all.  They took it all down years ago.
