+Saturn #1 Posted October 14, 2020 Just wondering if anyone can verify that it works correctly. I've heard it shouldn't matter but wanted to ask. The original version SD cart appears to have issues w/ BJL. Any help appreciated.
+Saturn #2 Posted October 29, 2020 Just tried it myself and it works fine. Also, reset button resets the current game (as if it were a real cart plugged into a Jaguar) but, as stated elsewhere, does not reset the Game Drive.
SainT #3 Posted December 7, 2020 New? The hardware has not changed... 🤔
+Saturn #4 Posted December 7, 2020 Great, didnt know that. Saw there were some changes in how to update the gd drives, iirc and wanted to be sure. I only have 1 "natural" jag left so didnt want to get stuck with bjl only cluster f. Thanks for the info.
SebRmv #5 Posted February 22 Hello, I just received my Jaguar GameDrive. My first impression was that it really looks good and was impatient to test it. Unfortunately, I cannot manage to use it right now. So I have a few questions. First, I use a BJL modded Atari Jaguar. When I press B, I got sometimes the RetroHQ logo, and sometimes a blackscreen. When I get the RetroHQ, it seems just stuck afterwards. I tried with and without a SD card plugged in the slot. (also, I am not sure the SD card is plugged correctly as it seems there is a spring mechanism) I don't get the screen with the QR code and the instructions to flash the latest firmware (as it is explained in the manual) Are there any specific instructions to follow? Is it supposed to work with a BJL modded Jaguar or should I get my hands on a "normal" Jaguar? Many thanks, Seb
+CyranoJ #6 Posted February 22 No, it doesn't boot on a BJL Jaguar.
SebRmv #7 Posted February 22 (edited) Ok, thanks. Too bad I haven't kept the original BIOS on this modded Jag... Edited February 22 by SebRmv
neo_rg #8 Posted February 22 I can send you a eprom bios chip, is it K or M series?
SebRmv #9 Posted February 22 1 hour ago, neo_rg said: I can send you a eprom bios chip, is it K or M series? Thanks! It is an M serie. Actually the simpler would be that I flash my EPROM. My modded jag has actually a switch to select between 4 roms: Stubulator 93, Stubulator 94, BJL and JagOS. I guess I could replace one of these with the original BIOS (maybe JagOS?). I believe I flashed this EPROM myself, but I don't have the hardware anymore to do that.
Zerosquare #10 Posted February 22 But you'd have to send your EPROM chip for that, and the shipping would cost as much or more than the price of a new chip. If you still live in France, let me know and I'll send you a chip. This will be cheaper and less hassle than getting it shipped from the UK.
SebRmv #11 Posted March 9 Thanks to @Zerosquare, I have now an original BIOS. When I boot the JagGD, I get the RetroHQ logo and that's it, nothing more. What should I do?

+cubanismo #13 Posted March 12 In case it's not clear for the less technical, the JagGD works fine in a system set up to switch between BJL and regular BIOSes as long as you're switched to the regular BIOS. This is how I use my Game Drive.
