Another Newb SDrive-MAX question

OK, here is the part mystifying me right now. I know how to get disk images onto the SD card from my PC for my SDrive-MAX and access the contents of the disks from my 800.

The part I have not been able to figure out yet is how do I get individual files on to or off of my PC from an Atari disk image. Like I've listed a program listing to an .ATR on my 800 on the SDrive-Max. I know how to get that .ATR image back on the PC, but how do I get my file out of that ATR image to my PC. OR vice versa, I've downloaded a tokenized BASIC program on my PC. How do I get it onto a disk image to get it over to my 800?

Thanks!
Dave

There are several ways to do this, Altirra has a tool to browse disk images, under Tools, use Disk Explorer,

you can drag and drop files to/from the disk image.

You can also under Altirra mount a folder as a DOS 2.0 disk, this is Read Only, but is useful to copy files

into then copy them from the mounted folder to a disk of your choice.

There is also this tool, don't think this is the latest version, but you just drop a .ATR image into

the web page and it displays the disk contents, you have the option to download or Save files.

There is a thread in this forum for this tool.

You might also like to use MemoPad to convert text files from Atari format to Windows format, again, this

may not be the latest version of this.
