Possible new run of MEGA Speedy?

Recommended Posts

The MEGA Speedy has become my go-to drive, except for an occasional DS/DD disk in my library.  It is so handy not to switch drives between my Happy  and Super Archiver. I should have bought two!  I suspect that ABBUC could sell quite a few, but I also realize that they are time-consuming to produce, unless the whole production could be outsourced.

One never can have enough MegaSpeedys. :) Would love to have one or two more, too.

I´ll reach out to the people who did the last batch.

Hi skr, that sounds great. Have just read about the upgrade, and it looks really useful.

Regards

I’d buy one. I had one of the first run but then sold it before I’d installed it due to circumstances. Still wish I’d been able to hang onto it.

Hi,

Could I offer a "douze points" Eurovision bump for another run of the MegaSpeedy? I can't help but noticing the complexity for the PCB and components are heading towards parity with the FujiNet, and they seem to be being manufactured by several people without too much trouble!

I appreciate these aren't normal times, but it would be nice if another run could be made!

Too late, Germany got only 3 points in Eurovision song contest and scored second-last place.

But I guess (and hope) another run of the Mega Speedy does not depend on this. Alternatively one can order a Mini Speedy or a Mini Super Speedy from tf_hh.

Hi,

The Mini Super Speedy is a fine upgrade, and in fact I got one when they first were produced a year or so ago. However, I'm still hoping for a Mega Speedy, hopefully before next year's Eurovision final (all woads lead to Wome!).
