Makes me wonder how many add-ons for original Game Boy. 

I got the camera/printer, gameTunes radio, World Port (internet).

There must be oodles, I'm gonna check on Wikli

Well this Japanese site I found probably a decade ago and keep bookmarked as they update it in both their language and an english mirror.  It shows every licensed first party component Nintendo ever made for their own devices, even those that never left Japan.  There is some truly obscure stuff here.

that's a great page.

I don't care much about 'licensed', it means, this device works on this hardware, no more. So for me this 'license' stamp is of no relevance.

If not direct nintendo, I recall a few things, like songbird (mp3 player) a GPS device, a fish finder, a barcode reader (several of those actually) a thing that basically makes the th a handheld computer telecom thing, even a (gbc) pattern printer for a sewing machine.

 

There is a wide variety of truly oddball stuff for gameboy.
