Assuming Hal made a typo (certainly) 10AM Chicago is UTC-0500. So in Germany on UTC+0200, it will be 5:00 PM. 1
Airshack
1 hour ago, Lee Stewart said: Why does this announcement say “Central Standard Time”? Chicago is in the Central Time zone with or without daylight savings time. Agreement though...for a worldwide virtual event it’ll be best to list the times in UTC. No conversions necessary for everyone outside the Windy City. Removes an unnecessary layer of abstraction.

+Schmitzi
thanks a lot for the answers. Maybe an additional facebook event (just for the date) is an idea, as this "translates" any time to local time, and also gives a reminder just in time ? RXB
I made a mistake as I assumed it was Nov 3rd?
