What is "Arcadia" anyway? I thought it was just the name of a company (besides the Emerson console).

Little tennis with Commando thrown in... then you get in your space ship till it crashes and drive around painting the town.

Ironicly, the fact that you wouldn't find it funny is the funniest part. Come on loosen up. Gaming is supposed to be fun and not to be taken so serious ALL the time.

 

Also I wanted it to be a sort of guessing game. Can you tell from the inital pics what is going on? How many pics need to be revealed before you can tell if its a Hoax, Fraud or The Real Deal and how would you back up your opionion?

 

To bitch over the minute or two you spent looking at the back of a guys head is silly. You either "got it" or you didn't BUT either way you closed the window and moved on.

I get that it's a joke... it's just not a very good one. Anyone who was serious about showing off a new prototype wouldn't be stupid enough to get in the way of every single picture. Maybe it's just my sense of humor.

See I guess that's where we differ. I don't believe in "screwing" with people, especially when there are prototypes involved. Then again when it comes to prototypes I'm all business since that's what my page is about. If I went around "screwing" with people it would hurt my pages' reputation as a reliable prototype information source.

I think this would have been funnier if you had set it up differently.

 

First, nobody haxs heard of Arcadia whatever. If you had tried passsing it off as, say Super Mario 4: After the Armageddon, it would have been funnier.

After the names I was called for not wanting to dump this proto (Greedy, stupid, and vain) it was the least I could do to show my apprecaition.

 

I called it Arcadia VI because it is a muticart of 6 arcade games and yes its real. However the last 2 games were never started.

Yes I did. I haven't looked in the DP prototype forum in sometime so you'll have to shed some light on what happened.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I believe that the decision to dump a prototype or not is up to the owner and shouldn't be dictated by a unruly mob of people. That's really one of my pet peeves...

 

While I appreciate the screenshots of this new prototype, I think you want about it the wrong way. This whole "is it a hoax or is it real?" stuff just puts people off. There have been far too many hoaxes lately.

It was developed by a company called Source the Softrware House.
